Beautification Grants Once Again Available
The following opportunity is something that MSCA used to update our landscaping a few years ago. If there is a neighbor in MSCA who wants to volunteer to pursue this it may be of service to the community. Please contact Bob Gross , MSCA President, if you are willing to consider volunteering. Thank you.
In conjunction with the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful Task Force (KMCB), Montgomery County is offering beautification grants for volunteer projects that add flowers, trees, bushes or rainscape gardens to common areas in neighborhoods. Projects that qualify may be eligible for Department of Transportation (MCDOT) matching funds of up to $500. KMCB and MCDOT also sponsor other programs to promote environmental quality, such as Adopt-a-Road and storm drain marking. For more information and an application, go to the County's website
